Some days I can only "squeeze" a doodle out:
I had a bright(?) idea of adding color to this and turning it into something else, but that idea hasn't materialized yet. We all have good days and bad days.

I send more "thank you" cards than any other kind. How blessed I am to have so many people doing such kind things for me! I find it much easier to have a few spare ones on hand than to have to get inspired in a hurry, so these two will fill the well for a short while.

Stamp by Kelly Panacci
I've been very inspired by the scrap projects at Some Fiddling on the Kitchen Table and at Stamping Mathilda lately. Thanks so much, ladies, for your ongoing dedication to your blogs and for the inspiration they provide. Prayers are happening for a speedy recovery, Godelieve!
They have provided the inspiration for another bookmark for the bookmark project.

Gingerbread Torte with Whipping Cream and Mascarpone Cheese Topping
Dried Cranberries to Decorate
This is my contribution to a Thanksgiving Feast at the Priory. Our church minister is a member of the Emmaus Community in Victoria, BC. The Priory on Fraser St. in Vancouver was recently commissioned by the Emmaus Community to put down the roots of a new monastic community in Vancouver. Blessings on your new plant!
So, we have lots to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving to all of my Canadian followers!

I love the Bind-it-All for making books that will expand with collaged yumminess. Most stitched bindings don't allow space for every page to have things glued on them.
Lots of people are using square formats these days; I'm finishing off a 6 x 6" journal that I use for an Idea Book. The final inspiration for this new 4" x 4" book was Painted Pages Fueling Creativity Sketchbooks, by Sarah Ahearn Bellemare. She recommends that everyone have a 4" x 4" "scrap" book. I'm hoping that this new book will fuel my collage creativity. (My scrap box feels neglected.)
I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!

6" x 6" Idea Book
I've mentioned challenges and prompts this week for art inspiration. I also take classes, follow many blogs, and borrow art books from my local library. When something that I see gives me an idea that I want to save, I put examples and journaling in an "Idea Book". This one is 6" x 6" square and I have a much larger one for those BIG ideas. LOL
